Ambassy Court is located in the part of Xuhui that once belonged to the French Concession. Today, the area’s tree-line boulevards, cafes, and foreign goods stores continue to attract foreigners. Ambassy Court is situated along a quiet section of Middle Huaihai Road (previously Avenue Joffre), a major commercial street that was once one of the French Concession’s most important streets.

Ambassy Court is nearest to the Shanghai Library metro station (Line 10), but both Changshu Road station (Lines 1/7) and Hengshan Road station (Line 1) are less than 10 minutes away by foot. Several of the city’s most important commercial areas are within easy reach, including South Shaanxi Road, Jing’an Temple, and Xujiahui. Commute to these areas is only about 10-15 minutes by car or bike.
